About Matilda
I believe I possess the key qualities one needs to progress in life. These are knowledge, motivation, confidence, integrity and humility. I strive to achieve excellence in everything that I do and see challenges as an opportunity to thrive. You can accomplish anything if you have clarity, total commitment and a willingness to put in the hard work necessary to achieve your goals.
Having lived in three continents, I have gained experience in working with people from diverse cultures which is an asset with regards to communicating and understanding people from different walks of life. I have BSc in biochemistry aswell as a Master's degree in biotechnology. My scientific background has equipped me with knowledge and research skills that can be applied in every sphere of life. I would love to pass on these skills to anyone whose willing to go on this amazing scientific journey with me.
A teacher can have all the knowledge in the world but if they don't have heart and passion, that doesn't amount to much. I possess not only the knowledge but the heart and passion as well! The strength of a country is not in its wealth but in the knowledge of its people. With that in mind, my aspiration is to empower people through education with the intention of helping them to realize that they have the power to better their lives, regardless of their background and circumstances.
I absolutey love to see the light in someome's eye when they finally understand a concept they have been grappling with. The greatest thing I can ever do for anyone is to help them bring out the greatness that is burried within them.
