About Rehnuma
I earned a B.A. in Biology from Barnard College in 2019 followed by an M.Sc. in Sociomedical Science from the Mailman School of Public Health of Columbia University in 2021. I am currently a Doctor of Medicine candidate at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. I have been an associate tutor at Radiant Prep since 2019 with an additional four years of previous professional, private tutoring experience in science, mathematics and social sciences. Furthermore, I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Biological Sciences at Barnard College during my undergraduate training in addition to over six years of experience in clinical and/or translational research. I am passionate about the natural sciences, public health, education, and youth mentorship.
Having tutored since 2015, the most rewarding aspect of this profession is undoubtedly inspiring and motivating my students to pursue further STEM education. Having a STEM career myself, it is gratifying when I can help foster this passion in my students.
