About Joanna
I have a bachelors degree in biology through Emporia State University. I studied biology for five years with a focus in botany and animal studies. After college I became a substitute teacher for the Santa Fe Trail school district for about six months. After that I began working for the COVID Unit at KDHE as a microbiologist. After a year and a half I was made the Unit manager. I have now been with the state for two years. As a person who struggled through school, tutoring is what gave me the chance to graduate. I want to be able to help others.
I was a substitute teacher. I also have my Bachelors in biology and I am the COVID Unit manager as well as a microbiologist.
