About John

I have more than 45 years of bowling experience. I have been performing custom ball fitting and drilling since 1999. Some of my personal achievements have been multiple 300,299 and 298 games all are honor scores. I have multiple first place finishes in singles double and team events in several amateur bowling tournaments. At my shop I specialize in custom ball fitting and drilling. I will help you choose a bowling ball that is best suited for you and help you improve your game using the proper equipment. With each ball purchase you get a free game of bowling.

I get a great deal of satisfaction when I am able to improve a bowlers game and help them achieve a goal they may have. I haven't met a customer yet that I wasn't able to teach something new. I love to engage with my customers and give them knowledge about the game that they may not be aware of or maybe ever considered. An example would be oil patterns verses ball surfaces and weight blocks that are combined with the ball surface and how they are used to create ball motion. I really enjoy educating new bowlers. I started teaching when my customers asked if I would take some of my time to spend with them and give a private lesson.

I have been involved with the sport for more than 45 years. I custom fit and drill bowling balls for my customes at my shop.

First I learn how long they've been playing and get an idea of how much they know about the fundamentals of the game. The I look at their ability to play the game. I look for flaws in their approach and work with them to make improvements. I will also help them choose the perfect ball to play with based on their ability.

Mostly beginners that are looking to improve their game and bowl competitvely. Most are league bowlers with an urge to succeed.

To come to the lesson open minded. Expect to change the way that your used to bowling and accept that what is being taught is based on the basic fundamentals of the game. By learning and following the basic fundamentals of the game you will see drastic improvement in your own game.

I host a tournament at my center. I love to promote it and get everyone involved in the competition. It brings out their best in bowling. Many are surprised when they learn that they are a better bowler when their is something on the line.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1) What is the best weighted ball for me.

2) What surface ball is best for me based on where I bowl?

3) How often should I take a lesson versus practice?
