About D
Professor since 1999 (Hudson Valley CC and other colleges) and tutored clients found on line since 2013. My own two children were my early clients, and both are successful graduates of challenging colleges.
I also have been fully trained by Kaplan, and gave classes to prepare for the MCAT for a full year. Kaplan also runs classes for SAT/ACT preparation: I have taken part in those, and graded several SAT exams.

Details
Before College level, my rates are 20 to 44 dollars per hour. College level or beyond, it will tend to be at the high end of this scale. If I drive more than 30 miles to reach you, we will discuss compensation for the travel. A pack of lessons is a good idea for students starting 4 weeks before an exam (such as ACT/SAT). We could meet 2 times weekly, with homework between lessons. We'd settle at the start on a sum, to cover all the lessons and coaching for the student's upcoming test.
