About Ben
Distinguished career as a professional cellist and teacher.
24 year career with the U. S. Air Force Band, Washington, DC.
Experience in teaching cello at all levels of students. (from beginner to advanced)
I enjoy teaching cello playing. I have studied with many of the world's greatest celists. After a lifetime career, I have much to offer about cello technique, and about music making.
Every student has unique needs. It gives me joy to see a student improve and learn the cello literature.
I first started teaching privately in Alexandria, VA. This was while I was a cellist with the U. S. Air Force Band, Washington, DC.
Bachelor of Music degree, University of Miami, FL.
Studied with Janos Starker, Leonard Rose, and many other famous cellists.
