About Aiden
As a sophomore in college, I have had the opportunity to take several rigorous courses that have required a significant time commitment. To manage my time effectively, I have had to develop several strategies and techniques that have helped me to stay organized and on top of my work, such as creating a schedule, breaking tasks down into smaller chunks, and setting aside dedicated study time as well as time for self-care. Before coming to BU, I worked in a busy restaurant and competed in classical piano, which helped me develop organizational skills, active listening, patience, and flexibility. These skills allow me to succeed because I can manage my schedule to make time for tutoring sessions and stay on track with my coursework. Additionally, I will be able to keep track of multiple students' progress and create practical lesson plans to help them succeed while actively listening to questions and concerns so that I can provide appropriate responses. Most of all, I want to work with students struggling to understand a concept and be patient as they work through it since I was once in their position. I will ensure that none of my tutees hesitate to seek assistance because no question is stupid in my eyes.
I have recieved strong grades in both Organic Chemistry and College level Biology and I aim to help students understand the material and provide them with the support and guidance they need to succeed. Furthermore, I believe tutoring can be a rewarding and fulfilling way to give back to the undergraduate community and make a positive impact on the lives of others. I have personally benefited from the help of utors in the past, and I offer the same level of help and support to students who may be struggling.
