About Ben
As an aspiring medical student, I have had the experience of high loads of demanding corse work in the STEM fields, preparing and doing well on the MCAT, and writing many essays for college and job applications. I have a background in many fields of study, and love to find ways to connect what I'm learning to real life.
I love those moments when things finally start to "click." Being able to serve and help others learn is something I find to be very worthwhile and beneficial!
I began as a volunteer Organic Chemistry tutor at BYU and have continued to help others in language studies, test prep and application services.
I have a bachelors degree from Brigham Young University with a major in Russian, minor in Chemistry, and have taken all required Pre-Med course work.
Scored in the top 20% on MCAT.
Rewarded Advanced Level Proficiency in Russian according to ACTFL guidelines.

First, I like to get to know my students and for my students to know who I am and feel confident in sharing their needs with me. I then like to establish solid expectations of what the student needs so I can assess how to best meet her or his needs.
I have mostly worked with college students, but have also helped a handful of highschool students on a wide variety of topics.
I love Thai food! I recently took a trip to southeast Asia and fell in love with the people and the culture of the area.
