About Isabella
I am extremely passionate about chemistry and love teaching students about its nature. I have been tutoring for 2 years and really enjoy spending time with students and strive to cultivate a fun and productive learning environment. I graduated top of my class with high honors with an ACS certified biochemistry degree, and am currently enrolled in a graduate biochemistry program.
To me tutoring is more than just conveying information. It's about forming a lasting connection with an individual and going above and beyond. It is very gratifiying to me to see students begining to enjoy themselves while learning about chemistry, so I always come into sessions cheerful, energetic, and encouraging.
I developed an interest in tutoring after attending my college tutoring sessions. I really loved interacting with my peers and bonding over studying for a particularly difficult subject.
I have been a chemistry tutor at my college for 2 years as well as a teaching assistant for a general chemistry laboratory.
