About Soohyung
*** I am currently offering online tutoring only! ***
I am a recent graduate from UCLA with a degree in Biology, and I have a proficient understanding of Chemistry, Biology, and Calculus. I have 2 years of tutoring experience with students in both private tutoring and an SAT center.
My goal is to not only to give students a good understanding of the subject matter, but also to help students develop better studying habits, schedules, and organizational ability.
I think the best part about tutoring for me is when I see a student realize that "hard" subjects like Chemistry or calculcus are not so hard after all. These STEM Subjects can all be really daunting when taught in the classroom with all the technical terms and whatnot, but in one-on-one settings, I can personalize and relate the subjects specifically to that one student. It's a rewarding experience for me when a student can find his or her way to studying on their own.
