About Mikaela
Hi! My name is Mikaela, and I am an experienced science tutor. I have been helping students with chemistry, biology, and physics for over 5 years. I have experience working in biomedical research, and I have a background in neuroscience and cell biology. I am thrilled to help you understand both simple and complex concepts across a wide range of scientific subjects.
I have a Bachelor's of Science in biomedical science and a minor in cognitive studies. I have 4 years of experience completing molecular and cellular neuroscience research in biomedical laboratories that studied stroke, Alzheimer's and multiple sclerosis. I have years of experience understanding cell and molecular biology, general chemistry, and neuroscience (including neuroanatomy).
