About Gwen
I'm a university student who loves chemistry and physics. I achieved 625 Leaving Cert points and a Quercus entrance scholarship to UCC. I am very passionate about chemistry, and love to help people find a passion for it too. I am based in Cork, however all lessons can be done online too.

Chemistry Grinds – Tailored to You
Offering one-on-one chemistry grinds designed to suit each student’s needs—whether you're looking for a once-off session on a tricky topic or ongoing support throughout the year.
Lessons focus on building a deep understanding of the material, not just memorising facts. I’ll work with you to identify areas of difficulty, explain key concepts clearly, and guide you through practice problems with worked solutions and personalised notes.
Flexible options include:

A full run-through of the course content
Dedicated sessions on exam technique and strategy
All lessons are tailored to each student’s pace and goals, with a strong emphasis on developing confidence and long-term understanding. I consistently achieved H1s throughout school and have a solid grasp of what it takes to succeed in chemistry exams. I have recently completed my undergraduate degree in UCC, BSc Chemistry of Pharmaceutical Compounds in which I consistently achieved first class honours. I have experience tutoring at leaving certificate and undergraduate levels and have even had students learn chemistry just for fun!
