About Kamila

My favorite part about being a tutor is getting to know my students and their unique learning styles. I also especially love seeing my students succeed and gain confidence in subjects they had been struggling with.

I have 2 years of tutoring experience both through tutoring centers and individually. I worked in Math Support Services for 6 months and at My Kid's Tutoring for 1.5 years while also tutoring through this platform. I have done both in person and virtual tutoring, so I am flexible with the platform. I recently earned an MS in Physiology from Georgetown University and I also have a BA in Chemistry with honors from UC Santa Barbara. My other significant work experiences include 2 years of research experience at City of Hope Beckman Research Institute as well as 1 year as a research intern through CHOC Children's Hospital.

About the lesson

I have worked with a wide variety of students with a wide variety of needs, from age 7 to college-aged students. I have worked with multiple students who struggle with dyslexia and other learning disorders. I have worked with students who are struggling to pass their classes as well as students who want to get ahead in the material. No matter the student or their goals, I enjoy the process of getting to know every one of my students and helping them accomplish their goals!
