About Emily
Created by a hard-working and passionate Science Department Chair that was focused on creating positive environments in which adolescents can learn and grow. Incorporates interdisciplinary knowledge into science tutoring to engage students of all learning orientations. Recieved ETS Regonition of Excellence Score on professional testing.
I teach honors Biology, honors Chemistry, and honors Earth and Environmental Studies. My reason for teaching is a passion for the science curriculum and inspiring future leaders in the scientific field.

As a professional educator I determine the learning style of the prospective student. After determining a learning style I then tutor accordingly to both the style and the subject matter at hand.
I have worked with a variety of learning styles - visual, auditory, verbal, physical (kinesthetic), and logical. I also have a background of work with students who have IEPS and 504 accomodations.
Never give up and always ask for help when you need it.
My most recent cherished event was watching my homeroom class graduate from high school with their high school diploma and their two year associates degree. I have never been more proud of a cohort of students.
