About Hanna
I am a fourth-year Chinese language student working towards a degree in Asian Literature and Language studies on the Chinese track at the University of Iowa. I am passionate about learning and teaching Mandarin, with an emphasis on grammar and character writing skills. I believe that personalizing the curriculum in a way that allows the student to understand vocabulary as it relates to their own lives is very important.
I love personalizing the curriculum in a way that allows the student to learn in the style that works best for them. If the student is passionate about sports, let's learn Mandarin by giving them the vocabulary to talk about their basketball game passionately!
