About Chenrui

Hi, I'm currently an Applied Math major student at UCSD. As a math tutor, I specialize in guiding students ranging from elementary school all the way up to the challenges of high school AP courses and I've been working with diverse student groups for about 6 years. Whether you're just starting to grasp the fundamentals of arithmetic or tackling the complexities of calculus, I'm here to provide the support and guidance you need to succeed.

What sets my tutoring approach apart is my emphasis on personalized learning. I understand that each student has their own unique learning style, pace, and areas of struggle. That's why I tailor my teaching methods to match your individual needs, whether it's through interactive exercises, visual aids, real-life applications, or hands-on problem-solving.

My goal isn't just to help you memorize formulas and algorithms but to foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts that will serve you well beyond the classroom. Together, we'll build not only your mathematical skills but also your confidence and critical thinking abilities.
