About Wanxuan
I'm an native speaker. I have tow years teaching experience in a Chinese school at Cincinnati, Ohio, where I used to teach in a classroom with nine students and they were at the age from 5 to 7. In my class there were Chinese kids, mixed kids, and American kids. Based on the parents' Chinese level and the students' passion, I would give different kinds of, but same level, homework to the students to make sure all of them can absorb the knowledge.
In additional, I'm in an Chinese cultural association, in which I'm keeping learning many Chinese culture from thousand years ago to today that I didn't know to improve myself. My friends and I would talk about the cultures and we would write passages to send to the public. Also, I am taking education courses in the college right now because I think to have the knowledges is not enough to become a great educator. I believe that all these can make me a better teacher, and my students will have fun in my class!!
First of all, I love Chinese language and love other Chinese culture. While I was in high school, I got a chance to teach Chinese in the Cincinnati Chinese School at CCCLA. In this school I met my students. I did my first teaching. In the classes the students were listerning to me. They were watching Chinese movies. They were having fun on learning new words. I truly felt proud of being a teacher while I saw their happiness and improvement. Then, I said to myself: "I love teaching! I want to be a teacher/tutor! I hope more and more people know that Chinese is a great language!"
