About Ashley
My teaching style centers around cultivating student curiosity, creativity, positive self-esteem, critical thinking, and overall health/well-being.
I enjoy helping each student find their passion for music and the clarinet. I love to share the wide variety of musical opportunities and experiences the world has to offer to my students!
I have a Bachelor degree in Clarinet Performance from Central Michigan University and a Master's degree in Clarinet Performance from the University of Oklahoma. My primary teachers include Dr. Suzanne Tirk and Dr. Kennen White.

For new students, I always try to find what fundamentals need improvement first. From there, I like to find what the specific interests and goals are for the student so that we can create a solid plan for future lessons and so I understand what new experiences the student may benefit from.
