About Adrian

Together, we will strengthen your mathematical foundations which enables you to later create anything you can imagine with code. I’ll assist you through programming line by line when necessary. You will be given practical examples to develop your efficiency in coding. I don’t assign homework, but will push you to develop applications on your own for subjects that you are most interested in, and am available outside of tutoring hours for questions and feedback.

I have been teaching students all over the world, from beginner to advanced for more than 20 years. Courses I am offering at the moment include C++, Python, and Java from beginner to advanced. Contact me if you are interested in other areas of programming, since I am deeply proficient in a wide array of subjects.

I have a doctorate in Engineering Sciences, Mechanical & Biotechnical Systems Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, which is one of the top ranked engineering schools in all of Europe.

Presently, I am the Chief Design Engineer for an international oilfield manufacturing firm, and assist teaching Applied Statistics in Engineering at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. My current private tutoring load is 11 students from all over Europe, at all levels of competency in programming who wish to enhance their resume, acquire new skills to join the workforce, or improve their performance in college classes.

My qualifications prove what I know, but my character proves what I can teach you. I am patient when explaining, open to correction, understanding of your needs, and passionate about equipping others to grow in knowledge and abilities. My motto is that there are not dumb students, only dumb teachers.

I am overjoyed when meeting with students who share my desire to grow in their ability to create unique and powerful works. Many of my students engage with me about everyday life issues, and I feel privileged when they share openly with me about struggles and victories that are so important to them.

Being located in Europe, I've learned that theoretical programming is of greater interest to employers here, while in America it is practical programming that is the focus... meaning what you can actually produce in the market with computer languages, not what demonstrates a theoretical proficiency. I am uniquely equipped with practical and theoretical knowledge and am available to engage the student in either of these arenas.

About the lesson

Note: I am quite flexible, and we need not follow a rigid learning plan. Our time together will always seek to meet you at your level of knowledge, and that may require improvisation on my part, and only a readiness to learn on your part.
