About Mark
I am a tutor, an instructor, and an instructional designer. My professional experience has its roots in the three industries: education (e-learning), applied mathematics (math and system programming), and visual communications (photography).
This foundation gives you - my client - an opportunity to learn from a person with a broad perspective on learning and life, and me - your teacher - to help you connect a subject you are learning with its application in real life, to combine approaches from different domains of knowledge.
I had a degree in applied mathematics, work experience as a system administrator and engineer, a full-stack web developer, a teacher in high education, a commercial photographer, a graphics designer, and e-learning manager and developer. I know and use seven languages to communicate with a computer (C/C++, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, Pascal, SQL) and the software to make my professional activity easier whatever it is (Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline 360, iSpring Suite, Inkscape, Adobe Premiere Pro, and other).
I have a bachelor degree in Applied Mathematics and a specialist's diploma in Applied Mathematics.
I conducted workshops in British Higher School of Arts and Design (Moscow, Russia) in photography and image editing. I am teaching computer programming, mathematics, image editing, and digital photography for children and adults.
I have conducted more than 1300 hours of group and individual classes.

My tutoring workflow is based on three keystones:
1) Do fewer exercises but regularly. 30 minutes per day is better than 3.5 hours per week;
2) Self-paced learning is quickest. The alternation of relaxing and concentrating is the key to better learning.
3) Learn it by using it in your life. No theory without practice, no practice without theory.
