About Julie
Founded in 2007, The Merry Kitchen, located in Portland, Oregon, is a home-based cooking school for children. Run by Julie Merry, a culinary arts and nutrition expert, the school offers hands-on cooking classes where kids learn to prepare meals from scratch, even picking ingredients from the garden. The Merry Kitchen, which caters to young cooks in the surrounding areas, is known for its fun, engaging environment, and has many repeat customers. The school can accommodate most allergies during private parties or individual instruction, and offers year-round classes, including summer camps.
