About Lisa
Learning should be fun and productive! I have been an educator for 17 years and have taught a variety of subjects and grade levels. My students enjoy learning and that results in great results!
I started teaching while in college. I took a part time job working with children with autism. They inspired and motivated me to change majors and go into education.
I have my masters in curriculum and instruction and my bachelors in elementary and special education. I have been a DOE teacher for 17 years and have taught a variety of grades and subjects.

Get to know them personally, their interests and dislikes, then their current academic levels.
I have worked with students from age 3 to 13 who have come from all different socioeconomic backgrounds. My experience has been working with students from different countries.
Make sure they are passionate about teaching and the subject area.
As we move into the second quarter of teaching online, I realize how much more my students are opening up and their personlities are shining. They have all been logging into my class and have been pumped to learn!
