About Alyssa
I am currently a senior at Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL. I am studying psychology with a focus in Human Factors and Industrial Organization. I have taken everything from a basic introduction to Psychology course to Cognition, and Abnormal Psychology. I have been on the Dean's list every semester at Flagler since the Fall of 2018. I am a recipient of multiple scholarships at Flagler. As well as the vice president of our Activities Board.
I enjoy Psychology because one day I know I am going to be able to help people who struggle with mental illnesses. I will be able to direct them in the right direction they need whether it be about their social life, their occupation, or their home life.
I used to help with an after school program back at home when I was in high school and used to help students with their homework then.

I like to get to know a student personally and learn about how they like to learn. Each student is different, and we have to understand that each student has their own strengths and weaknesses when studying.
If a teacher is an expert in one section of Psychology, it can be hard for them to teach the material at a level that everyone can understand. It is good to have a teacher who has taken multiple types of the subject you are looking for so that they are more understanding of what the student needs help with.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think about your strengths and weaknesses, and make sure you know what is going to help you and your teacher thrive. This is the key to success in teaching.

I do not have a set standard pricing system for my lessons, yet. I was planning on doing 30 dollars for an hour-long session, but I am willing to work with other pricing or private pricing.
