About Thomas

Any lessons I teach or services I provide, that is associated with my knowledge in teaching, comes from a passion for what I love. In cycling, I am a world traveled instructor, teaching students from a range of cultures and languages how to ride to their highest degree. Wether that may be for profession or recreation, you will push the envelope of what you can do. In teaching firearms or women's self-defense, I am a 40 year veteran of the military and civillian law enforcement cadre. Licensed as an instructor by both the State of Texas and the Department of Defense as a law enforcement small arms instructor, I specialize in diagnostic correction; taking the shooter with poor or misinformed skills to shooting like a professional.

I found that sharing my love for the things I do was the greatest reward of my life. The need for instructors are always there, but few are "called" by not just their passion for what they know, but also by their ability to share and teach others.

40 years plus in military and civilian law enforcement, small arms instructor since 1994, a lifetime of recreational and professional cycling.

About the lesson

First thing I need to know from a student is what their goals are. From then I diagnose their present skills and work to employ all new skills to enhance their experience.

From teaching cycling to children as young as 4 up to adults in their 70s, to teaching firearms and self defense to every age of young adult to even those older with disabilities.

Know what you want in a goal of learning and be willing to have an open mind as to whom you accept as an instructor. Beware the "High Speed - High Gear" instructor who blows right past you and is more interested in showing you his/her skill than teaching those skills to you.

Details

Most all my instruction is one on one, coach/pupil, personalized training. My price is $50.00 per hour of personal instruction. Group instruction varies on the amount of students and lessons to be taught.
