About Katya

Katya Danko, founder of KGDDance, believes that dance is for everyone and everybody. We offer Contemporary/Modern dance classes and workshops to dancers of all levels. We offer group classes in Contemporary and Modern Dance as well as private lessons. These classes will refine the technique and artistry as well as bring out the confidence in every student.

As an experienced choreographer, Katya can also create choreography specifically for you. From a proffessional dance reel to a surprise wedding group number, she will make you look your best!

About KGDDance:

Under the leadership of founder Katya Danko, KGDDance gives a platform to female-centric artistic narratives, told through movement and dance. As either a new work or movement adaptation, these stories deal with the complex strengths and vulnerabilities of women, and the truthful relationships they endure with others as well as themselves.

The KGDDance Company choreographs works for both stage and film. Movement and dance provide the heartbeat of our stories within the theatrical, cinematic and immersive worlds.

I love choreographing work that resonates with others, and connecting with people of all ages and dance levels through movement and performance.

In terms of classes and lessons, nothing inspires me more than pushing students to reach there full potential as dancers and getting them to have a blast in the process!
