About Ty

Right Style Dance is a new studio in the Denver Metro area. We work with first time students, all the way up to pros who just want to come in and session. We will teach you the elements of hip hop, so you understand where the style of dance came from. We specialize in popping, also known as Dub Step Dancing from the main stream media. We also teach other forms of hip hop dancing from breaking, locking, & krumping. My sister and I have been dancing for 12 years, and have been performers for artists like Skrillex, Zeds Dead,& Vibesquad just to name a few. We have performed on stages at Sonic Bloom, Red Rocks, the Ogden, Cervantes, & basically every theatre around the city. Dancing in my opinion is one of the best forms of meditation out there. The Eagles song a line in Hotel California, it goes "some people dance to remember and some dance to forget ". For me that sums up the reason why I dance. But it is also great exercise, a good way to make new friends, and a great way to spend your free time. The way we teach is simple we start with a style practice it in class and then give you homework to practice at home. Once you have learned that style we will move onto the next. When you join Right Style Dance your not just a student you become apart of our family.

I love working with kids, as I'm in the middle of teaching my 4 year old son hope to pop & break. I get the most enjoyment when my students finally get it, and the confidence they get from it.

Dance lessons offered by Ty are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Denver. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
