As a teacher she is Quite knowledgeable , patient and understanding .

I loved everything about it. Especially getting to learn more about my culture.

I've had the opportunity to be a student for the past 3 years. Classes are tailored for students, from beginners to advanced. The choreography is one of a kind and the feeling of accomplishment after a performance is an exhilarating experience.

I have been with Jayadevi since they opened. This place has become a second home to me and I can say that Denyse has an amazing vision ahead of her and knows what she is doing. Thanks to her I now have 12 years of dance training in my pocket and have become a second choreographer, which is what I’ve dreamed of doing. Jayadevi will expose you to many new things and people who will carry you a long way.

Denyse is an expert and very patient with everyone. she always makes it fun.

Not only do you get the opportunity to learn Indian dance but you get to learn a variety of dances that are popular in the Caribbean community as well as the culture.

Being part of JayaDevi Arts is like having a second family. We not only learn dance, but learn about the history of our culture. We learn about other dance forms, not just Indian dance. It allows us to tap into our creative imaginations. It also pushes us to learn coping skills and life skills. Denyse is always there to listen, push us, and offer advice. She is literally our second mom. There is nothing that we can't talk to each other about, confide in, or handle. Everyone in Jayadevi pushes each other and supports each other to the fullest. It is so much more than just a dance class.
