About Hunter

The mission of Follow Your Arrow is to create a space where every student feels seen, heard, and understood. Everyone gets a chance to point the Arrow in their direction. I will always work with individuals of all ages and abilities.

After school, I began working with Kaiser’s Room, a not-for-profit service organization that provides the opportunity for imagination and connection through theatre and dance for students of all ages and abilities. I was so inspired by my experience both performing and teaching with “KR,” that I knew I needed to go deeper.

In 2019, I began teaching one-on-one classes with children and adults on the Autism spectrum and developed my class, Follow Your Arrow. When working with my students, I noticed that they craved two things: structure and spontaneity. Follow Your Arrow is a safe place where the students know EVERYTHING that will happen, but also know ANYTHING is possible.

In addition to my degree in Theatre Performance with concentrations in Directing and Speech Therapy, I have been a performer since I was a kid.

I started taking dance class, acting in plays and musicals, and working behind the scenes and before I knew it I was on a plane to New York City for college.

During school, I worked at off-broadway children’s theaters all over the city including Vital Theatre Company and TADA! Youth Theatre. I graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a Bachelor’s in Theatre Performance with concentrations in Directing and Speech Therapy.

About the lesson

The first class is a bit different then a typical session because it is a time for me to get to know you and set goals for our work together.

Once we are clear on your intentions, I will build a 6-week curriculum specifically geared toward stretching the muscles you want to stretch and putting together a piece of material you can be proud of.

I have worked with students from age 4 - 50. Most of my work is with people in the neuro-diverse community. Some of my students have Autism, some are non-verbal, and some are neuro-typical.
