Where most painting/drawing classes require you to go them....

I bring the class to you. And customize lessons for the best personal experience and growth.

With over 25 years of experience painting, and over 30 years drawing, I have a lot of knowledge to share, and love to share it with people who want to learn.

I like working with new people, and the different views we all have on the world.

I feel I have always been a teacher, from the times in Elementry School when I would go to the bi-lingual class to help the kids who were just learning English, to tutoring in and after i graduated high school. I have taught on many subjects throughout the years, to many different pupils.

While I have been working on and selling my artwork for over 20yrs, I started teaching my art to others on a professional level in February 2018. I am getting started with big goals in mind, but want to start at a local level, teaching people who want to learn, for an affordable price.

About the lesson

I like to begin my process with sitting down and finding out what their goal is. Then complete a skill assessment project based on their goals.

I then customize a lesson plan tailored to the students wants and needs.

I have worked with many types of students

beginners to advanced,

ages 8 - 95

male and female,

I also have worked with handicapped students.

I work with everyone that wants to learn.

Perfect! My first experience with Tom was a wonderful learning tutorial of drawing. Tom found a place where we could sit down and go through a drawing lesson, at a nice coffee shop with a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for learning a skill I’ve always wanted to learn: drawing. First, we introduced ourselves to each other and I got to see a bit of artwork that he does and then I was given a sketch pad and pencils and learned techniques such as shading and one point and two point perspectives. Also, I learned the effects of the direction of light on creating shadows on objects. Overall, it was a great experience and I look forward to more future lessons from Tom. Thank you

we are having so much fun learning how to paint with acrylics. The instruction is superb time is not ever a pressing issue although our lessons are 1 hour long and we accomplish everything that we are asked to do in plenty of time and the prices are amazing thank you so much

The painting and instruction were simple enough for residents of varying skill sets to follow and succeed. They were still talking about how much they enjoyed the activity at dinner and staff that stopped in to see what was happening were also very impressed.
