25+ years as a professional painter with international exhibitions across Europe and the United States.
Experience, education, or training
I am a classically trained oil painter whose work is collected internationally, including by Her Majesty Queen Paola of Belgium. Alongside my artistic career, I am a medical doctor specializing in visual perception, with published research on how the eye engages with works of art.
What I love about my work
What fascinates me most is helping students unlock their ability to truly see. Painting is not just technique—it’s perception, sensitivity to light, and understanding how emotion is conveyed through color and composition.

My teaching goes beyond traditional instruction. I combine the methods of the great masters with scientific insight into eye movement and visual attention, allowing students to progress quickly and develop a deeper artistic awareness.
