About Irena

Private fine art classes based on classical painting and drawing techniques.

Including, but not limited to realistic drawing techniques, composition, color theory, perspective, light, watercolors, oil, pastel, making your own art supplies, e.t.c.

You will get solid classical foundation, and then build up on it whatever your heart desires.

7 years of classical painting and drawing techniques in Ukraine, BFA from Pratt Institute, Masters from Tisch School of the Arts

About the lesson

The first thing is to listen and see what the student needs, and what they want. Make a plan, and start the journey -- step by step.

I've worked with different ages and skills levels. The youngest student was 3 and the oldest was in their 70s.

Even the most brilliant teacher only shows you the way, or several. Travelling that way is totally depends on the student. And as Rumi said: As you start to walk on the way, the way appears. And eventually you will find your own.
