About the lesson

We would start with gesture drawing for people who would like to draw portraiture or full body figures. Then I would move to underpainting, color matching and using all colors to create a more complete skin tones. From there, we would talk about creating a story with the space around the figure. Lessons on lighting and how to use it as a guide for the viewers eyes to travel around the painting. I end my lessons when we can create a painting that takes all the elements we learned for one cohesive piece.
