About Helen

I am an international award winning artist as well as an established concert pianist. I have exhibited in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Korea and many cities in the U.S.A. including Tucson, Sarasota, Dallas and New York City.

My teaching career spans many decades, with students of all ages in numerous regions of the world.

I am also a trained Expressive Arts Facilitator and a member of Art Committee in the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association.

About the lesson

I believe in self-discovery through art. Besides learning and mastering techniques, I emphasize in being able to express ourselves through art. One should be able to freely explore creative self-expression in a non-judgmental environment.

Young children of age 6 and above in groups and group of women. Teenagers in private lessons. I have worked with artists who were having creative blocks.

I have a 13 years old student who started lessons few weeks ago. She has gone through many art schools and she is very active at her art classes at her school. She expressed her frustration with regidness in the past classes. She showed interest in abstract painting but has never painted "abstract" before. At her first lesson, she enjoyed the freedom and learning about abstract art. Now, at her third lesson, her works are amazing. She says she loves the new way of painting and drawing and being able to expressive herself. I am so pleased to know that I am making a difference in someone's creative world.

Details

Fees are due in the beginning of a month for 4 lessons. For months that has 5 weeks, student may add one more session fee or choose one week to be absent.

$180 for 1.5 hours per weekly (works out as $45/1.5 hours) materials not included

$200 for 1.5 hours per weekly (works out as $50/1.5 hours) all materials are included except big size canvases

$240 for 2 hours per weekly (works out as $60/2hours) materials not included

$260 for 2 hours per weekly (works out as $65/2 hours) all materials are included except big size canvases
