About Danette

My lessons stand out by teaching the elements of art through what the student enjoys and what they want to learn. I ask the student to create/draw/paint for at least 5 minutes everyday. That gets the juices flowing and the student doesn't feel overwhelmed. More often than not, the student will find themselves creating for well over the 5 minute time frame because they are enjoying what theyare doing. A person can do anything for 5 minutes.

Art is my profession. It is my passion. It's not just that I want to do Art, I have to do Art. I make people happy through the art that I do.

I have finally learned to keep it simple. My art is all an experiment. There are no real rights or wrongs. I start out teaching the elements of art as the base then go from there keeping my art creative, an exploration an experiment and fun.

Through working with adult Eduction programs and Young Rembrandts. Then I created my own teaching techniques.

I am Mainly self taught. I have been an professional artist for over 35 years. I have been an art instructor for Young Rembrandts and adult education Programs. I have had my own business from 1998 - 2018.
