About Carys

Workshops and classes are offered in a wide variety of creative and entrepreneurial disciplines, from learning different artistic styles and mediums, to inspiration techniques, to organization skills, to foundational business practices. Learn to create something true to yourself and run a side hustle or creative practice that speaks to your passions.

Artists and creators are often discouraged by how difficult the field of art is to succeed in, and all the acumen of the industry they're not familiar with yet. As someone who personally aspires to learn everything I need to know to succeed, I want to impart that sense of fulfillment and ability that I see in each of my fellow artists. I want them to feel empowered to pursue their goals, no matter how unique or far-reaching. Seeing others inspired to chase their passions and empowered in their efforts really makes my heart soar.

Self hosted classes on helping artists learn the basics of forming a business starting in December 2019

Endorsement in Graphic Design, multiple business classes (including marketing, entrepreneurship, etc), self-taught artist from the age of 13

Before starting your journey to become a better artist, creator, entrepreneur, or whatever - it's important to know who you are and where you currently stand. First I will consult with you on your experience and portfolio so far, as well as what goals you have for your future and what your ideals are.

Creators of all types - from jewelry makers to makeup artists, soap makers and photographers, models and painters - and at any stage in the process, whether they've been doing it for years or are just starting to conceptualize.

Actions > words. See what your potential teacher is doing. They can have all the qualifications and certifications they want, but if they aren't accomplishing the goals you're wanting to strive for, they're not the best teacher for you.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think of an "end goal" for your creative or entrepreneurial journey - not to say that it ever really ends, necessarily. If you want to start a business creating art, what are your reasons for it? Do you want to be involved in the day to day operations or do you want to be the head honcho that stays home, running things remotely in a less "hands-on" way?
