About David
While I am young in age, I have been thouroughly trained in the arts for the past four years at Las Vegas Academy of the Arts and have just graduated. I am very knowledgable about art and art history alike. I have had my work shown in multiple art shows and have won three awards, a Silver Key for Scholastic (2019), 1st place for sculpture for Voice (2018), and 3rd place for sclpture at the LVA Legacy Art Show (2018).
I am well rounded when it comes to art. I can draw and paint and even sculpt in multiple mediums. Some include graphite, colored pencil, oil paint, acrylic paint, etc.
I love the expression art brings whether it is a realistic piece or abstract. Through art, students and teachers alike learn from not only eachother, but themselves as well.
I have been trained formally in the arts at Las Vegas Academy of the Arts and graduated from said school.

About the lesson

My teaching style consists of starting with basics and working your way up. For example, in oil painting, I reccoment starting in black and white and doing exercises first to get the hand of the medium. Then move onto a small practice piece, finally onto a final piece. Once the student has mastered black and white, we move into color theory and how color works together to become a whole. Like before, we start with exercises, a practice, and then the full piece.
