About Mallory
I can help and advise in many different mediums and different genres of art from realism and conceptual to surreal and fantasy. I work and teach with oil pastels, acrylics, watercolors, charcoal, and pencil.
Art is my heart and soul! I paint to express my vast and unique imagination and simply love making art that impacts others emotionally. I would encourage any other artist to do the same.
I began by teaching lessons at children's birthday parties and then camps.
My mother, my middle school art teacher, and high school art teacher had an enormous influence on my pursuit of art: to learn about it, and become a full-fledged artist. My teachers helped me to realize that art was a very important part of my character as a person and that I should pursue it to sharpen my skills.
I have studied art as a course of study for 7 years, throughout high school and college. This Fall of 2020, I will earn my Associate's Degree in Fine Arts and I hope to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in the Fall of 2021. My mom encouraged me to start sell art and commission pieces for other people, and I have been for 6 six years.

I have an "Artist Challenge," a survey that I extend to any new students to have a better understanding of what kind of art they do, what mediums they prefer, and how I can better help them create art. Whatever you wish to know, improve, or piques your interest with art, I will do my best to help and advise you.
I tutor all ages. I have often worked with younger children, between elementary and middle school levels, yet I have also advised college students and adults.
Ask many questions and do not hesitate to be inquisitive.
Do not feel discouraged if your work does not turn out the way you expect. Take it as an opportunity to learn something new.
Compare the "quality and effort of your art" to others, to help yourself improve. However, NEVER compare the "merit" of your art to others. Always remember, your art is your own, no one else's.
