About David
You dont need mad artistic skills to be a portait artist when you learn from me. No proportions to fret about. no sharpening pencils. Art as small as 4x6 and up to 11x14 inches. Art you can finish in a day or even an afernoon. Art that looks finished and realistic. you can see my work on Facebook under 'Drawntastic'
I love teaching people my skills and making a new friend in the process. I taught myself everything i use to draw; no classes, none of that 'imagine the head as an egg' stuff. I also love to travel and get easily come to you for a series of classes.
To make ends meet in my 20s I taught classes in my apartment in Omaha, taking up to eight students at a time.
I taught myself all the skills we use.

Selection of a photo to work from. We always use a lightbox, so i always bring mine! I also bring a mechanical pencil and drafting film. (thats the surface we draw on) Finished art is on clear film and you place it onto a bright white sheet of paper to frame.
All ages from teems to art lovers in their elder years.
Try and find a teacher that makes it fun and doesnt make you do boring drills when you actually want to start right in on an artwork.
