About Allison
As an educator, I focus my students' attention on history, philosophy and the arts. I do believe it is as the writer and philosopher George Santayana said; "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
I hold a BFA in Art History and Illustration. I have worked to promote learning in and through the arts for the Philadelphia Society for the Preservation of Landmarks, and Philadelphia Arts Education Partnership. Currently, I have committed to teach elementary art for my family's homeschool co-op.
I have been homeschooling my four children since 2014. The decision to homeschool involves an immense amount of dedication and self-sacrifice. I support and affirm homeschooling parents who work hard to give their children an excellent education in a supportive and nurturing environment.
As a visual artist, I enjoy drawing, painting and sculpting, working my intense passion much into the fantasy art genre.
As a Christian, I hold to the Symbolum Apostolicum.
