About Alicia
I believe my work stands out by the aesthetics I choose, which is whimsical and playful and inspired by the youthful stories I enjoy. I combine this bell with a strong study of life drawing and the soft colors of watercolor paint.
I absolutely love art- making and creating it is wonderful. The only part of the process I enjoy even more is sharing it. Which brings more energy, understanding and growth to the process.
I have a Masters degree in Illustration, a BFA in Animation, and an Associates in Design. I have also studied Art Education and have done work as a mentor in animation, private tutor for storyboard and teachers assistant for comics. I have also sent a year teaching painting and have spent over 5 years mentoring artists in workshops.
