About Amanda
As an art educator with more than a decade of experience under my belt, I have a wide range of art skills to share with my students. I provide highly individualized feedback and I care deeply about the growth of my students. I also relentlessly pursue my own personal art practice, which helps to fan the flame of my passion for art.
I love to see people grow and realize they are capable of so much more than they knew. We are all creative in our own ways and I love helping people figure out what it is that drives them to learn and improve.
I have been an art teacher nine years and an artist my entire life.

I begin by learning as much as I can about my student's art experiences and goals. I like to have my students show me what they have done and also work through a few basic exercises in order to help me gague their baseline understanding and art skills. Then, we work together to set objectives and a timeline for learning.
