About Branka
I have been a University professor for years prior to dedicating myself full-time to raising my child and writing novels. With my child starting high school this year and two published books, I now wish to tutor people from around the world.
I have a depth of knowledge, life experience, maturity, and passion for teaching. Whether you need to learn Croatian (my mother tongue), want to learn how to write (in English), or need help understanding your basic economics (I hold a PhD in Environmental and Resource Economics and I taught at both B.S. and M.S. levels), I can help you.
I started teaching as a teaching assistant when I was doing my Master's degree and continued on teaching as a university professor.

The first session is to see if we are a good fit. I ask the student to tell me what they need help with, and what they are expecting to get out of these sessions. We create a study plan and begin. If there is a pressing assignment they need help with we can cover that in the first session too.
College students, Master's and PhD students, and adults engaged in continuing professional and personal development.
Make sure you can work with your teacher and that they motivate you to learn and practice.
A recent event I am fond of is an outside theatre performance my husband, I and our son went to see in the city where we live. These performances occur only in Summertime and I haven't been in years. It was a treat for me to go this year with my family.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
You should think about the following questions:
What are my goals?
What are my strengths?
What are the areas I am struggling with the most?
What is my timeline, i.e. what do I need to learn/accomplish by when?
How much time am I willing to put into learning/accomplishing this (daily, weekly, monthly) and for how long?
