About Rodney

Strata Business Tutoring focuses on achieving in classroom results, while also teaching how those concepts are applied in real-life situations.

Our main tutor, Rodney Strata, has served as a tutor during his college tenure, and also is an adjunct professor at the University of Mount Union.

Rodney also has his M.B.A. from Walsh University, and is very well versed in all business concepts from sales, marketing, management, economics, finance and more!

I love seeing students start to have fun learning and building confidence in their skills. When a student comes into a tutoring session thinking they will never understand a concept, or that they are not smart enough, nothing makes me happier than working with that student and getting them to realize they can learn something and they are much smarter than they thought!

I have served as a tutor for multiple classes during my collegiate career, and also serve as a adjunct for classes currently where I instruct anywhere from 10-30 students per class.

About the lesson

1. Understanding where they are in their educational journey, and understsnding what they are trying to accomplish.

2. Discussing and identifying the ways that they best understand and retain material.

3. Build rapport and get a better feel for how to best instruct the student, and adapt tutoring sessions to ensure the most effeicient sessions as possible.
