About Yanki

I am very passionate about econometrics and predictive modeling. I have worked in this field for over 6 years.

I have published work in forecasting interest rates, inflation, and GDP growth. I have helped foreign governments implement econometric models for monitoring real time economic activity.

I was a teaching assistant at the Johns Hopkins Univerisity and currently am a teaching assistant at UCSD.

I worked woth many different types of clients: foreign governments, private companies, and students.

What I love most is imparting knowledge. Seeing students make sense of econometrics makes me enjoy my work even more.

I thrive to explain the material simply and concisely. It is my priority to explain the material as clearly as possible so that students understand why we need to go through a certain procedure.
