About Nikki

I can help you pass your ECON classes and actually make them fun to learn. Really! I can help you understand such topics as comparative advantage, payoff matrices, the role of government, and what the Federal Reserve does.

I've been teaching college students since 1993, and have won teaching awards from Georgia State University and Clayton State University.

I have a Ph.D., in Economics, but don't let that concern you. I am friendly, compassionate about teaching and learning, and can work with whatever technology you use.

I always wanted to teach, but my parents discouraged it. While I was working on my doctorate in economics, I got dropped in the deep end. Georgia State needed someone to teach an honors micro class. I was in over my head. Practice helped me get better.

I have a Ph.D in economics and have taught for many years. I've learned about how students learn and I know effective ways to teach economics. I have teaching awards, too.

About the lesson

I start with a phone call to establish a rapport. Then the student sends me current assignments and we continue via Zoom to work on problems.

I've mainly worked with college students, but I've also successfully worked with high school students in AP classes.

First, find someone as soon as possible when you start to struggle. Then, make sure you have pen and paper handy. It's a hands on type of course.

I was the guest of honor at Clayton State's College of Business' awards. It was amazing to meet former students who were graduating and who had kind words for me.
