About Karl
I am an experienced tutor of eight years, and recent graduate from the University of California at Santa Cruz (B.A. Economics, 2017). Since tutoring students part-time while in high school and college, I have tutored over 15 students on a one-on-one fashion, both in their home and in public settings. Most of my students are high school and college students seeking help understanding their coursework in mathematics or economics. Many are seeking clarification, while some seek to go beyond their classroom lectures. I let the student determine the lesson of the day based on his course's schedule and due dates, and use the Socratic method to make sure he thoroughly understands the material.
