Instructor Algren Rogers is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and an experienced Guitarist and Teacher in the Chicago area.

I first started teaching private lessons in college as a way to make extra money, and I've been teaching ever since!

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Guitar Performance from Berklee College of Music

I have several years of experience teaching Private Lessons/Ensembles in all styles

I have participated in over 300 live Concerts/Performances in the Chicago area and across the country since 2010. I have taken the stage everywhere from small restaurants to major US music festivals!

About the lesson

Our first lesson will always be about discussing the student's needs and interests. From there, we will develop a personalized plan together for how they can best become the musician that they want.

Everyone! I have experience with adults, children, teens, college students, beginners, advanced guitarists, and special needs students.
