About Ashley
My name is Ashley Rifkin and I’m currently a special education educator to grades ranging from 7-12. I have been employed by the department of education for 3 years, and hold a masters degree in adolescent education. I have experience working with students who have special needs, so I am accustomed to teaching all core subjects from levels pre-K-12. My instruction is focused on utilizing intensive learning strategies to ensure understanding and acquisition of new skills. I focus on an individualized approach to instruction, as students often learn best when encouraged to utilize their unique learning styles to get ahead. Similarly, I integrate student interests into every session to ensure a fun and engaging environment for learning.
