About Katelyn
I make sure students' needs are met. If they don't understand something I will continue to go over it in different ways which include visual learning.
I enjoy connectingwith the students and making sure they are in a jugdment free zone. Not only am I a teacher but I am a friend.
Since my father was a high school teacher for more than 20 years, he inspired me to become/volunteer as tutor for children.
I volunteered as choreographer for a church I attended for many years.

I would introduce myself then let the student introduce themselves to me. Before actually starting any teaching, I prefer to start a surface level conversation just to make sure I creat a comfortable environment before diving into the teaching.
Children who only knew Spanish, those fresh in kindergarten and even a couple of strong headed teenagers.
