About Genji
I am currently a Japanese student. I am bilingual and fluent in Japanese. I have attended Japanese weekend school all my life, and received the equivalent of a Japanese high school diploma on top of my normal school work in the USA. I have also taught English to Japanese students wishing to learn English.
I had an opportunity to teach Japanese to others who did not know the language and wanted to learn the language.
I have the equivalent of a Japanese high school diploma for attending Japanese weekend school for 12 years.

First I’d like to know at what level they are at when wanting to learn Japanese. From there, we work together in order to improve their Japanese.
I have worked with college students and high school students. I have also worked with younger kids when I was in Japan to teach English to them.
I would recommend hiring a tutor that is able to be your friend as well. An important aspect of teaching is to have a connection with the student in order to motivate them.
